CONWY HARBOUR

Cae Eithin is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of the U.K. Within 15 minutes drive of Snowdonia National Park, days of outdoor beauty are on your doorstep. Walking, sailing, climbing, surfing, kayaking - an array of activities are available for the whole family to enjoy. The coastline offers days of sandy toes-salty-lips-adventures, the nearest beaches (Colwyn Bay and Rhos on Sea) only 10 minutes on foot. Perfect for those ice creams and fish and chips! It is also possible to venture further afield to the island of Anglesey which is famed for its unspoilt beaches and lighthouses. Other surrounding areas of interest are: Llandudno (Victorian seaside town with plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and tourist attractions. Take a tram up the Great Orme, try your luck at the amusements on the pier, or catch a classic Punch and Judy performance!) Conwy (A small, walled medieval town. Step back in time in the castle, pop into the smallest house in Great Britain, and sample all the numerous independent local businesses have to offer) Betws y Coed (Waterfalls, rivers, steam railway, walks up to the lakes - this place is a walkers paradise. It also offers many dog friendly eating places.)

Other attractions in the area include: Bodnant Gardens, Bodelwyddan Castle, Penrhyn Castle, Greenwood Forest Park, Bounce Below, Surf Snowdonia, Plas Mawr, Llangollen Canal, The Llyn Peninsula, Aber Falls, The Welsh Mountain Zoo (5 min walk up the hill), Portmeirion, Llechwedd Slate Caverns, Conwy RSPB reserve, Roman city of Chester.

Neraby supermarkets include Lidl (5 minutes on foot), Tesco (10 minutes drive), Asda (15 minute drive).

A selection of independent shops, cafes and pubs can be found in the nearby village of Rhos on Sea, a 10 minute walk along the sea front.
